64TH INTERNATIONAL DWV-CONGRESS: REGISTER NOW

Bonn – The German Winegrowers’ Association has recently published the programme of its 64th International DWV-Congress which will take place digitally from 11 to 13 April 2022. From now on, interested participants can register for the conferences via this homepage or directly via https://pretix.eu/dwvkongress/2022/ .

Participants can expect an exciting and varied programme under the guiding theme of " shaping change in the wine sector sustainably". This topic shall be considered from a practical, scientific, and viticultural policy point of view. "It is a particular concern of ours to bring all the players in the wine sector - nationally and internationally - to one table and discuss the demands on the profession and future-oriented viticulture," says DWV Secretary General Christian Schwörer. "I therefore invite you to participate and to register for the 64th International DWV-Congress!"

Not only the effects of climate change and the resulting weather extremes such as heavy rainfall, droughts or late frosts, or the demand for pesticide reduction and decreasing resources draw attention to the issue of sustainability. Current discussions in politics and society about the promotion of organic production or changes in marketing also require us to address this issue of change and sustainability. In addition to the ecological aspects, the economic and social aspects should not be left out - all these aspects will be represented at the 64th International DWV-Congress.

Please note that registration is also necessary for the free events. For technical reasons, registrations must be completed by 08.04.2022.
