Sustainability in the wine industry – how can the profession act in view of the ideas of politics and society?

Subject Wine policy conference
Date 13-04-22 Time 09:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

The DWV's main topic in 2022 is "sustainability in viticulture". In order to meet the demands of society and to act as a designer, to maintain eligibility for funding and to be able to take a stand in the political dis-course, the association is currently developing a common vision of sustainability in viticulture. This idea of how the sector could deal proac-tively with the issue shall be communicated to politicians at the wine policy conference. Representatives of the EU Commission, the EU Parliament, German state, and federal politicians as well as represent-atives of the OIV are invited to this event. The European Federation of Origin Wine (EFOW) will give an overview of the status of sustainability among our European neighbours.

Moderation: Klaus Schneider und Christian Schwörer, Deutscher Weinbauverband e. V. (DWV)
